almost 3wks have past seems exams. seems prettty fast cuz at this time of point.. i m not really sure what has happened in the past three weeks. activities r going on, but recollections of them r some how vivid! hope my prayers r answered soon.. waiting for christmas n santa!

went for linkin park at the indoor... some parts were good, some parts were not so.. i would prefer ah mei. both bout the same price!

juz got back from cruise over the weekend. cao ge was on board staging a performance with a few of his songs.. other than the concert, i only remember myself eating almost all meals on board, n spent some time slacking and slacking away. its time to take a step back and re-look on my strategy.

when am i a step nearer to first bucket of gold leh?? hmm...

juz got back from a movie with bong not long ago.. beowulf. well.. the movie.. ermz... has a story to tell..

3days 3nights

hey man hey man!!! ah mei in the house!!! woohoo... this is my favourite night of the week. or rather in many many weeks!!! been waiting for her for so long. yeah!! the ah mei star concert world tour. dis is the only picture i took in the stadium!


the concert was realli... needless to say... very good!!! 赞!!! yi ji bang!!! it was realli worth my money to hear ah mei live!!! as compared to the cd.. the ah mei live is sooooo good!!! some good costumes, good dancers.. rock band.. juz worth the money..

the only only de-high part was tat june n i were sitting in the some sort 'senior citizen' block. seriousli man.. seriousli they should juz go watch some orchestra performance.. suits them better i tink. they r not old.. at most 30s.. surrounding us were groups of couples. but all the bui on couples that even when ah mei got the whole stadium standing.. they can happily still stick their butt to the seats as though they r watching movie. common man!!! pls go home listen to cd or vcd better lar! u still can eat pop corn!!! man, the ppl at that block... at least 50% of them were such a disappointment. luckily got june n some of her frenz for company and towards the end it was high till the sky!! the whole stadium dancing waving light sticks or even the older aunties group still stood up to clap hands or so... but!!! the 'senior citizen' couples were of course bui on. stick their butt to the seats. they juz dun appreciate live performance. even auntie group can do better than you guys!!! haiz...

anyway, on a happier note... i like the way ah mei interacts with her supporters, the way she is able to handle with unexpected surprises from audience. there was a scene when she changed costume on stage, off all the lights... every one juz took out their cameras to flash their lights away. but nothing can still be seen. from classics to new songs... equalli good! they even put lyric on the screen! so that audiences can sing along. she cut her hair... short hair now.. but i still prefer her long hair. n she is hot n sexy as she dance and shake to her songs. she also brought along her personal classic white microphone along!! cool.

she is a classic... a diva...! hope there will be more new shi li cum idol type of singers like her!! cant wait for her next concert!!!! i run out of vocab to describe my feelings but i wish to rmb that moment forever. ah mei i love u.

dinner at KEK today... with the boss paul serving us. he status has changed.. no longer the student paul... he is the successor of KEK!! he is so proud that he call the many of us on the spot, a headless chicken as we still do not have jobs! hello... y u lydat!! ha..

lots of talking among us.. tok tok tok... gossip gossip gossip. one topic juz have to be around. that is finding jobz! still, no one is realli employed. still enjoying n hunting. ha. we had the biz plan of opening the authentic kek beside the 'fake' kek though. the makan sutra guy n eunice olsen was there to dine as well while we were around n paul do not miss the chance to take pic with them.

anyway it was a good time out! may all the headless chicken find jobs soon.

examz r finalli over n done like one wk ago... i m unemployed. waiting for christmas so that santa will gimme a job!

been hanging out with the grads the past wk.. nothing much but we're the onli freeeeee ppl around. ha.. another stunt at st james.. maybe its the psychological factor.. headed all the way to simpang bedok for a game of mahjong onli to find myself breaking even. but managed to wrestle with a pig (some bulldog) calvin has... which looks juz like a pig. oink oink.

wanted a feast of duck rice at YA FAN XIONG's stall.. but as usual.. biz was too overwhelming that they had to close earlier n forced to go home cuz no more ducks left. haiz... his duck is nice. wat to do leh??? hee.. bbj will huat big time in her career cuz she treated us to a meal! BBJ gong xi gong xi!!

'the game plan...' caught it over the wk end. starring the rock. not too bad.. juz head in for a nice laugh. little touching towards the end. but i still wanna catch brothers... hmm..

had this sudden craving for ktv the other day.. but of all days, i juz had to have sore throat that very day which i finalli went. i killed numerous chickens n broke many glasses for for the high pitch were all totalli.. woohoo... gone. it did helped to fulfil my craving for a meal but it was not song enuf..

still having a bad sore throat now. hopefulli it clears up before ah mei concert!! woohhoooo..

did a little renovation with my room in the wee hours. heng no neighbor complain sia. tink i m quite an inconsiderate neighbor.. but not as bad as bbc.. haha.

preparing for my LAST paper on tuesday.. abit slacking mode but nothing should distract me from fighting my past paper in the school battlefield. its not easi not getting distracted tat tis is in fact the last exam... wat will i be doing after that n many other things dat will follow up. i been waiting for this very day for many many years. but in fact when this day finalli approach, its a dilemma of feelings within. feels like... drinking martel with loti prata.

i miss staying at magnolia ave... walking along the boardwalk when i m free. the carefree moments of life. waiting at the pathetic bus terminal for a bus as well as living with those ppl. so near yet so far. a good memory i hope i will always remember how it taste.

a string of activities proposed after exams... but as much as i can plan, activities r onli limited to me n those few. cuz while i had already completed exam, many other gd pals barely started or is still waiting for exams to start. n a 3d2n mj cum hhll session with bbcfc which i tink will be postponed. maybe can even WAIT FOR SUSAN to be back as she always hope for us to wait for her... dat gal should be driving around indiana happily. shiok sia. bring ur car back ley...

little bit of a drama in the exam hall over an invigilator and a student while the invigilator was collecting exam scripts. provided some light entertainment after the paper while both of them were 'fighting' n 'snatching paper' with each other... 'juz a tot... wat if the exam script juz tears??' woohoo..

another paper tis friday... the worse thing: it is that it is a morning paper.
after weeks of weird sleeping hours, my body clock is adjusted to sleep around 5plus or 6am. its hard to revert rite now. the challenge is to wake up on time n be wide awake for the paper!!

y wait so long?

another incident with cabs... y wait so long sia!!! y wait so long for a cab when singapore have so many cabbies nowadays?? izzit not enuf cabs?? got demand = got supply. when demand > supply, supplier play tricks.... (at least for some)...

was waiting for a cab round HV juz now.. took me bout 20 or more mins taxi stand n realise some of the reasons y we wait so long for cabs!!

was holding a big plastic bag with a heavy bag n a heavy bottle of water (1.5l)... saw a cab bout to drop off passengers n i immediately went ahead n waited patientli to get on the cab while the ppl inside ask for their change n get off... much to my surprise.. TWO PUI BONG 'NEH NEH' came by open the door n quickly standby the other side (the other door where i not waiting) n hop on to it str away as the passengers got off!!!! KNNBCCB&@^$&*(&$(*#... besides the humongous boobies, i tink i have heavier stuff dan them n is it too DARK or sth tat they din see me???

okie.. ending of the story is that they won n zoom by the helpless me... the passengers who alighted look at me helpless too...!!! tsk!!!

tot i should juz go to the taxi stand... there was quite a queue n taxis arent coming in...

reason 1 is it sunday rest day so less cabs around sg or there realli is too many ppl waiting for cab

reason 2 some passengers in line tag team to walk across the road or the stretch before the taxi stand so that they can get a cab fist if there is any available one while fellow comrades stand by in queue as back up. those who tag team happily went off first one by one.

reason 3 unethical cabbies lazing around waiting for on calls.. (well at least there were some desperate ppl in line who called cab)

there was tis lady who was initialli standing in front of a jap family but got out of line to wait cuz she was carrying too many groceries. when it was the jap's turn to take a cab... she went up to them n told them tat she was actualli in front of them... but out of ignorance or fake ignorance whichever, they do not acknowledge that (everyone was sweating profusely.. no one wanted to give up the first cab) feeling helpless.. the lady juz gave up n called for helpline while the jap family drove off...

i took a glance at the despearate lady when my cab arrived but she refuse to reply my electrifying eyes so i juz took the cab...

lots of happenings while waiting for cab... toking bout unethical cabbies who wait for on calls or special timing.. (there r the existence of such cabbies for sure...! tested n proven thru experiences) maybe if i were a cabby i may do that too.. ha. but it juz realli pisses ppl who needs a cab off... very badli. maybe its all thanks to complicated special timing special rates special zones n special bookings. tsk... MAY THE SITUATION GETS BETTER.

juz to share a little article i read on 'my paper' some time ago... there is tis very very famous composer (chinese) named 'xiao cong' (literalli translated as small worm) who writes a lot of songs for famous singers. quite old i would say but still active in composing n had recentli joined 'hai die' recordings.. he mentioned this incident of his previous record company which is also a very big n famous one but i juz cant rmb the name. anyway.. he said... he recommended ashin (xin yue tuan's lead) to them, asking them to sign him as their artist but the company refuse. xiao cong den quit the company saying that he wun work with STUPID ppl.. (maybe the shin incident was the not main reason.. i dunno)... but since he cited that incident.. it makes me tink that.. wow.. impressive sia.. respect him for perseverance in having good music good singers round the music industry. SMALL WORM baby.. u have my respect though u realli is no gd lookin

after a few days of monotonous study for your own life & death days, an unwinding session is very needed.. supper at a little small kumpung called upp thomson. prata house.

lesson no 1. nvr ever let jacq sit beside the driver's seat. total distraction. if u r a guy, confirm NO. if u r a gal, do not listen to watever she says... life n death...

anyway, with ppl all the way from the west, n all the way from the east.. we met up in this small humble kumpung. eating the crispy prata n cheese prata. also ordered a honey paper prata but it was gan pua sweet. if eat tat, order teh o gosong den juz nice. cuz the amount of susu n honey make ur teh o gosong teh o.

7 of us there... each of us ordered AT LEAST one prata n a drink. at least more than half of us had 2 prata n 3 of us had 2 drinks. which makes our order confirm at least 10 drinks plus 13 to 14 pratas. the total onli added to 21. i onli paid 3 bucks for 2 drinks n 2.5 pratas. something muz be wrong somewhere. the ardiak was oso quite confused when he took our order n total them up... anyway.. cheap sia.

juz a random thing to blog.. many young kids i tink.. at least there is such an existence. look down or use another light to see ppl who speaks mandarin n call them cina freak.. okie i exaggerate abit. they may grow up in an english speaking family, speak more fluent english then some of us... but r they realli good at english as compared to the native speakers? they r neither here nor there. but in their ic... they r of chinese ethnic. if u grow up in singapore.. u muz know chinese. if u cant speak or write good chinese.. u should at least not look suay on the language. if you know n speak mandarin well.. there is nothing to be proud of. but if u can't appreciate the language, u should be ashame of being a chinese. ar bo change nationality to ang mo country. but then, u cant even speak their accent well.. wat i wanna say is.. appreciate the beauty of the language, be in chinese, hokkien, cantonese or teochew. u can use more beautifying words to praise ppl in those language n even use harsher words to fcuk ppl in those language.

appreciate your mother tongue... at the least, do not look down on it.

dumbass bbs cheated me to go ntu today at the 11th hour for a blood donation drive... feeling cheated, i should pull another victim down with me.. n tat is bbc!! actualli no say tat she is a victim wor, i onli hope tat she can have a xin an... no neeed to worry if she have problem not..
n so.. we had to fill up the difficult questionaire... it was somehow quite challenging.

for example... in this section, did u have sex with more than one partner... had sex with anyone u know for less than six months. well, for me, i can answer these questions straight away. but not so for bbs n bbc... so we took quite some time figuring out the right answers.

we have to pass thru a few stations before actualli donating the blood. bbs n bbc refused to get on the weighing scale to weigh their weights. ding ding.. bbc is unacble to donate blood for the next few years cuz doctor say her vein cannot find.. too small.. time maybe she got bad record always faint. i dunno.. anyway its permanent error.. but at least he have a xin an. n so ... left with me n bbs!!

due to my lack of food intake during lunch hour... my blood pressure was quite low.. need 3 cups of water before i donate if not doc say i confirm faint. so i quick quick eat drink n release... during this process.. bbs failed in her the iron count station when she lack of iron n so she also cant donate that day.. tadah.. left me alone..

(long term... at leasst for now). but its alrite we can still carry on hhl sessions with 3 or 4 ppl. depends on season. haha. my favourite dish is the lily bud with broccoli n pine nuts.. it was yummy!! bbj now works at the zooooo looking at horses kenna dissect.. anyway, we finalli fulfilled one of our dreams to eat veg to clear our sins... to blend in with the veg dinner, we had the "polite" theme for the nite. it was a total flop.

when on to the tong shui cum watch free movie hk cafe at river valley area. i had the boring mango pudding while bbs bbc ate almond paste, sesame paste. bbj ordered some ice jelly look alike ten time sweet dessert.

after tong shui was a series of NN session. to go drink, to go mahjong... or to go home sleep. after much much much brain storming.. we went to liquid kitchen down the road. warmed up the seats, request for a change of chair, look at menu.. n decided to screw out of LK. a final decision is made to play mahjong at bbc's. but juz the 3 of us cuz bbj wanna go home slp. n so our quest to look for a cab was disastrous.... there were a few groups of ppl waiting for cabs. but at that timing, many cabs juz ignored us.. while some immediateli changed their lights to busy when we flagged for cabs. n so... another cab tried to test our patience at the traffic light by changing his light from green to busi. immediateli, i took my camera out n flashed at that taxi while bbs n bbj were busy hurdling some polite words at the taxi for not picking us up. some hand signals were involved as well. to our surprise.. the cabby was smoking and had his window down.. n he did a knnccb super xl face with his cig pointing at us...!!!! it was a freaking silver arrow skoda!!!! kaoz...
i swear that after all those polite words n camera actions, no one else was vying with us for cab at that instance.... anyway i used the wrong mode.. so the pic was blurred. very.
we decidedd to change strategy for the nite n surrounded a cab who was coming out of a one way road.. he had no choice but to pick us up.

oktober fest at paulaner's... marks the end of our last official class in our school life. also marks the end of the frenship? ha.. juz for some. a few ppl esp wx was enjoying the band soooo much. but i was enjoying the part where some guy walked str into a class door with a loud bang. his embarassed wife was trying to peep at our reaction. we controlled. for a little while b4 we burst out laughing.

lust. caution. too bad it was edited... i would tink tat not anyone would appreciate it fully. its a deep movie. well directed and illustrated. juz to side track abit.. in order to bring the female lead into the character, the director guided her along for 8months. besides tat, she was encouraged to keep her pits unshaven... juz a little tot.. tony leung had so many bed scenes with her.. hmm.. its a sad story. i dun mind being in her shoes to get so close to tony.. hahaha

and for those who waited long enuf.. shin released his official solo album. apart from the previous one where he sang many of other ppl's songs. some were composed by himself and he actualli attempted rap! omg.. but actualli i like the arrangements. continued his style with some heavy rock. nice voice... got one some with wilber pan rapping in it. very nice arrangements... some of the lyrics r touching. wait no more.. go buy! no pirating wor..

the bomb.. is the nite at kbox with bong.. besides singing, tat pui one hungry and wanna eat some finger food. nb, the waiter gave us the menu and say each item is 7bucks but buy two get one free... menu includes food like sotong balls, french fries, nuggets, crab nuggets, n some others for those who dunno.. i really dunno. we decide to be brave n go for 2 plus 1. sotong balls, crab nuggets plus french fries. guys have u been to swensen n eat their ala carte french fries before?? man.. i tell you they serve food in tat fucking huge size instead of the typical pub type.. afew pieces nia.. n the waiter is another dumbass.. cuz he din tell us.. when they serve, they gave us 6 fucking HUGE CONES i tell you. we had 4 cones of fries plus 1 sotong ball n 1 crab nugget.!!! *&)#*(&($**$) know y??? cuz if you order sotong ball, it comes with another cone of fries as a set n this is obviously not stated anywhere in the menu!!! kaoz... the waiter tink tat we holding a big party??!!! he trying be farni??? kaoz...

moral of story is.. if you r hungry n wanna sing.. u may go kbox! tat amount of food plus a lao hu plus unlimited sing time... cost 46 for 2... song bo?

wat will do u when u encounter an earthquake?? i dunno bout the more serious victims at the actual venue itself. but for a location like singapore, which feels occasional tremors from earthquakes occuring at neighbouring countries, ST newqpaper offers the following advices:

if you r indoor.. hide under a table etc.. watch out for swaying fans etc.. DUN PANICK. if u notice visible cracks in ur walls or floors, its time to leave ur house via the stairs to ground level...

if you r driving, stay away from structures such as bridges, expressways.. drive to some where safe?? (i cant rmb exactly)

anyway, we should be more vigilant to such emergencies n do not take it for granted they they will not happen in singapore. its a life skill which makes u less NN when u meet such events anywhere.

bbcfc, we been thru life n death.

went to the zoo recentli.. well, maybe the weather affected a little but tats not the real reason, its a little some what disappointing.. some animals were not tat... u will onli know it when u reach their enclosure, onli to be found tat for some reasons, they wun be at their enclosure for viewing. food choices within the park itself is.. hmm... also took a clip of disgruntled zookeeper who shouted at 3 little pigs: "shuddup lar!" cuz the pigs were making hell lots of noise while waiting for their meals. kind of farni actualli..

went vivo with bong n yang n bong finalli decided to buy havannas sandals and quit his 'kpapa' (supposedly kappa) or 'adadis' (adidas remix) slippers.. i should take a picture of them next time.

was at clark quay's pump room the other nite.. it was onli den tat i felt singapore alive at nite... call me unhip, yea, havent been there for a long time after the revamp. but i like the atmosphere there. kind of cool, out of singapore, at least for tat nite. somehow, after the past few nites at HV, i felt that it was dying n losing its glory. hope i'm wrong.. i like to see it alive

cant wait for many things.. my last paper for my entire study timeline officially ends on 30th oct.
i dunno wat to do immendiateli after that... find a job tat i like n can gimme rice to eat.

but i will be looking forward to..... 8th nov (deepavali) as well as 13th nov (yx's bday) but catch me at indoor! woohoo...

went to watch a local chinese musical by theatre practice.. ang mo dunno call wat. chinese is 天冷就回来. the songs they sing are all composed by local composer liang wen fu. maybe u dunno him but heard his songs before.. wrote a few songs for kit chan.. n also the xi shui chang liu song. the songs r nice n not bad.. but maybe it was running for 2wks liaoz. one of the main cast is losing his voice.. their singing is soso ba. the 881 small papaya also got act.

steamboat at marina.. some of the ppl from the usa gang turned up.. but the organizer did not go!!! haiz... wazzup with dinah! its nice meeting the ppl again. i went to zhen huat steamboat at this birds no lay egg place. its cheap but definitely dun seem very clean. anyway i only paid 1.50bucks. yeah

rushed down to another bird no lay egg place after discussion to attend the mr lee's church musical...thief of always. boon hock. its hillarious seeing tat stone half dead man selling shoes n walking around pointlessli on stage. his bro.. is the main lead but i cant rmb which mr lee is boon hock.. hmm. i missed out on the free buffet!!! tsk.
fly downtown to catch rattatouile? how u spell.. aiya the rat show. okie.. shall refrain from watching show 2am when i seriousli lack of slp. cuz i din noe wat happened during the whole movie at all. dun ask me hows the show cuz i can onli let u know how good was the seat for sleeping.
